Included is a 1/4” link cable so you can connect the compressors together and run them in stereo. Professional review covers build complexity, sound quality vs UA originals, and whether this DIY project delivers studio-grade results. The estimates for a 'clone' is well over 1000$ in parts (exact number depending on what 1176 model you're cloning) but you could build a good 1176 model for around 300~500$ in parts if you take a lot of shortcuts at which point it's not a clone and at the lower end of the spectrum it won't even sound better than a plugin like UAD.
