Many people finished the exam early so I'm expecting the average to be in the high 70s. Many of the professors in the math dept are brilliant and know their subject but aren't necessarily the best at teaching it, and I think the skill of teaching needs to be emphasized more. The biggest part that helped me was understanding the homework problems and getting those concepts. Thanks! A curve is decided between all 221 professors at the end of the semester and will apply equally to every student taking the class. The last math course I took was pre-calculus (over 3 years ago), so I feel pretty behind compared to most. Math department past exams, and list of outlines of undergraudate courses. i wouldn’t recommend taking a class with him if there are other options. But math 230 requires being really good integration, so if your math skills are shaky it might be worth retaking math 140 and/or 141. If your course transferred as MATH 211 and the reason provided was “missing calculus of trigonometric functions”, then your course was missing a significant amount of content from MATH 221 and is truly directly equivalent to MATH 211. Do you mean math 230? If so, taking math 230 and 220 at the same time is what I did. ja7q5ej
